Mounties Group have completed our investigation of the below incident. All impacted members & visitors have been contacted outlining what data may have been exfiltrated.

As part of our investigation, it was identified that a limited number of individuals have had an image of the front of their driver’s licence exfiltrated. We have contacted these patrons directly to let them know and provide advice on next steps.

Please note that if you have changed your contact details since 23 March 2022 any communications will have been sent to your old address or mobile number.

Mounties Group has been made aware that outAbox, a Digital Media system, has been subject to a suspected data leak that may impact sign-in information of their clients which include Halekulani Bowling Club and Breakers Country Club members.  

This system, which was used in these venues prior to their amalgamation with Mounties Group, is no longer operating in any of our venues. Any information leaked will be historic and does not impact on people that have joined or entered since the Amalgamation.  

outAbox have confirmed that only the below information is visible on affected people:

  • Licence Number 
  • Member Photo (Not your driver's licence) 
  • Signature 
  • Address
  • Mobile Number 

According to advice, there is no need to replace your driver’s licence based on the fields that were collected by this provider. However, we still recommend that you evaluate your own situation to ensure this advice is accurate for your specific circumstance. 

We are working with OutaBox to determine which individuals this may affect. But reiterate that this DOES NOT impact on any data collected since these clubs have Amalgamated with Mounties Group and does not impact on any of our other clubs or systems.
