Footy Tipping Competitions

Breakers Country Club will be conducting both an AFL and NRL footy tipping competition in 2019!

Each competition is only $20 per person to enter.

Simply complete the entry form and make payment at Reception during club opening hours to participate.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promotion is open to all financial members of Breakers Country Club.
  2. Staff of Breakers Country Club are able to enter the promotion.
  3. Competition entry process:
  • Cost is $20 per person
  • Entry form needs to be completed and payment is made at reception
  • Competition entry opens on the 30th January 2019
  • Competition entry closes at 10:00pm on Sunday 17th March 2019 (round one commences on Thursday 21st March)
  • Minimum number of entrants: 20
  • No maximum number of entrants
Weekly tipping process:
  • Bets can be placed electronically via our website or manually at the main bar
  • For electronic entries, this can be completed by filling out the dedicated form below. Tips need to be entered at least ½ an hour before the first game commences.
  • For manual entries, betting slips available from the Main Bar, slips need to be completed and handed to a staff member in the Main Bar ½ an hour before the first game commences that week. No forms will be accepted after this time. Breakers staff member to place completed forms in a designated box behind the bar
  • Tips are tallied on a Monday or Tuesday
  • 2 Points for a win / 5 points for a draw / 0 points for a loss
  • Weekly winner prize will be 4 schooners of Furphy
  • In the event of a draw, names of members with the highest score will be placed in a hat and drawn when tips are tallied the following week.
  • Failure to enter tips in full, in the require time frame will result in the entrant receiving equal to the lowest score of the round.
Prize Pool:
  • First prize – 50% of the entry fees
  • Second prize – 30% of entry fees
  • Third prize – 20% of entry fees
